概述了超声波衍射时差法（TOFD），对目前世界上主要的七个TOFD检测标准或规范进行了分析和比较，归纳了其中十二个方面的异同点。为我国TOFD检测标准的制订和TOFD技术的发展提供参考。

Comments on the article by P. R. Sackett, N. Schmitt, J. E. Ellingson, and M. B. Kabin (see record 2001-00625-002) which posed the dilemma of how to use tests to select for performance without excluding minority group members. The current author argues that society should challenge the premise that elite American universities should select students on the basis of promise of academic performance. It is maintained that psychologists should develop valid tests that accurately predict the qualities of creativity, good citizenship, participation in extracurricular activities, athletics, political correctness, and social activism. The questions raised by Paul Wachtel are addressed in what follows. Some details have needed to be simplified, as what follows tries to describe the situation in two countries. Moreover, in one of them, Switzerland, the situation varies considerably from canton to canton (corresponding to U.S. states), reminding one of the joke in which a child asks his father where babies come from, and the father answers: "This all depends on the canton." A current-bearing rectangular frame as a field source for certifying electromagnetic search systems

It is shown that a rectangular ungrounded current-bearing loop can be used for the metrological certification of electromagnetic search systems designed to locate and examine underground conductors. Information Security Management: An Approach to Combine Process Certification And Product Evaluation

Information Security (IS) is the key to the effective management of any organisation in today’s commercial and industrial sectors. Line managers’ performance, for instance, is rated according to the extent to which their operations conform to the IS policies of their respective organizations. In the same way, senior management’s performance is judged by how well the organization performs in terms of internationally accepted codes of IS practice. IS management, however, is not always a quantifiable entity and its evaluation is complicated by the fact that it can be viewed either from an electronic perspective, in which case the focus will fall solely on product and/or systems evaluation, or from a procedural and management perspective, in which case the focus will, instead, fall on the certification of the IS management process. This article will, therefore, be devoted to providing a consolidated approach to the evaluation of IS management, in terms of which full cognisance will be taken of both these perspectives.
